4 x 4 West Coast 3 Day Get-Away

Join us on this adventure from Velddrif to Lamberts Bay, our registered tour guide will lead the way and treat you to a mind blowing few days.

Program:

Thursday evening: Everyone meets at the Sunset Seafood and Steak Restaurant (Velddrif) in order to get to know each other. Dinner is at the Sunset Restaurant in the form of a “boere braai” and accommodation is supplied.

Friday:

Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at the Sunset Restaurant at 8am, where after we will depart to Piketberg via Aurora. A 4 x 4 trail will be take place at “Klein Tafelberg” and either quad biking or hiking trails can be enjoyed afterwards. Whichever you prefer. The pool and lapa area are available for your pleasure with surrounding chalets. A light lunch and supper will be served at the barbeque area.

Saturday:

After breakfast (coffee and rusks) we will depart for Elands Bay. Here we will enjoy a typical West Coast lunch which consists of Crayfish and a Fishbraai. We depart for Lamberts Bay where we will visit the harbour and the well known colony of Cape Gannet (Wit Malgas) birds which gather there year after year. Supper will be served around a campfire and you will retire that evening at the campsite in Lamberts Bay.

Sunday:

An early morning light breakfast will be served consisting of “pot brood” and rusks, where after we will depart for “the dunes” to spend our morning quad biking and having lots of fun! Lunch will be served at the renowned Muisbosskerm in Lamberts Bay, this was the first open air restaurant in South Africa... Here you will be able to enjoy various local dishes and simply relax before going back home, what a fitting way to end this trip!
