In the heart of the Helderberg, surrounded by the most excuisite landscape imaginable and nestled in the Hottentots Holland Mountain range, we will visit 3 world renowned wine estates. Taste award-winning wines, tasty food, acclaimed olive oil, cheese tasting and delectable chocolates.

Our first stop will be at:
VERGELEGEN WINE ESTATE (1685)
Let us take you through the splendours that are Vergelen.
The effect that Vergelegen has on the visitor today is every bit as inspiring as it was to Reverend Valentijn nearly 300 years ago. Vergelegen estate allows visitors to absorb the cultural heritage from the displays at the homestead and library. Enjoy the octagonal garden with its Campher trees and 1000 year old Oak trees, the oldest Oaks in South Africa. A tour of the cellars and wine tasting will follow.

Our second stop.
LOURENSFORD WINE ESTATE (1700)
Established in 1700, and once part of Willem Adriaan van der Stel's Vergelegen, Lourensford is one of the most beautiful wine estates in the valley. Apart from appreciating the excuisite art collection at the gallery, you will be taken on a tour of their cellars, and taste their award winning wines. The chocolatier will tempt your tastebuds with a variety of delectable chocolates and truffles, Switch, the coffee roastery is home to fresh custom-roasted coffees, and at the deli you will be able to savour the goodness of different cheeses.
Our last stop 
MORGENSTER WINE ESTATE
This estate exclusively produces Bordeaux style wines (3 cultivars) and extra virgin olive oil.
A visit to Morgenster will involve a tutored tasting of olives, olive oils, olive pastes, and Balsamic. This olive farm was named “Mill of the year” - 2007 the highest accolade for olive producers. Then off course they are known for their famous wines. You can sit on the patio gazing over the dam to panoramic views of the Helderberg basin.
